It would do production companies a world of good to know exactly what is "inside the box" and what is "outside the box" with regards to the jurisdiction that their content is produced in. Too many people who want to produce content never do the research into what they can and cannot produce in the the area that they are producing it in.
What may be legal to produce in California may not be legal to produce in Nebraska.
Here in Canada, the Criminal Code spans coast to coast, and blankets the country, essentially making it easier to know what is legal and what isn't legal to produce, no matter where in Canada it's shot.
From what I understand, each State has it's own set of rules when it comes to sexually oriented productions, correct?
Bottom line is; Do your homework before you buy that digital camera and start snapping pics of your girlfriend/boyfriend...
But, when you're producing stuff like this guy, you're asking for it no matter where you are.
