The USA had race riots from 1965 to 1970 (a I recall) nationwide -- 100s died and much property was destroyed. There have been sporadic race riots in this county since 1865.

Today this would be nastier. Thousands would die before the tanks roll in ... Not to say anything of the cost of damaged property.
