of course, the design, traffic, sponsor, etc., all play into how many conversions you would get.

the reason i was trying to see if 1 sale per month is achievable is this:

it seems like free sites are probably the best example of the 'build and forget' method of site building.

if you get say $30 per month net after expenses per site, obviously that's not a lot, but if you built 1 free site per day, which is very reasonable to do (if you work full time in another industry like me), after one month you have the potential to make $30 x 30 = 900 per month. build 100 sites and that's $3,000 per month, etc. and the nice thing is that there is no maintnance of the old sites. i imagine there are guys out there with 1000s of sites. 1000 x 30 = 30000 per month. thoughts?
