I personally believe the Backpage escort section will be the last of it's kind, and the action will either move to other sections of Backpage and Craigslist, or end up being split between the rest of the sites like Eros and The Erotic Review.
In most major cities Craigslist casual encounters still has a ton of escorts, and always has.
