I would probably create 3 blogs, each one in different genres/verticals.
Update all blogs every few days. Try to be creative with traffic sources, use social media too.
After a few months, reevaluate. Keep the blogs that have promising growth, and stop updating the others.
Substitute the one(s) you dropped with new project(s) in different verticals.
Repeat until you strike gold.

As for porn, I'd look on PornHub and see what's trending. Pick a topic that's both popular AND has many sponsors/sites.
I would probably not put all my eggs in one basket though. I'd make at least 1-2 of the sites mainstream, such writing about products and linking to Amazon Associates, or some other mainstream sponsor that has good offers or is already a brand that's trusted by the surfers.
