Since we KNOW the USA intelligence agencies can and do spy on every American cellphone call and email then I am pretty sure they should be able to stop the fuck doing that AND actually watch for foreign hackers instead for fuck sake! Might be money better spent and even make some fools "trust" the government again...

You have some serious hate going on there. I disagree with all kinds of people but even I wouldn't wish someone would die, especially to cancer.
I'd suggest you dial it back a notch, and look at what has happened more rationally. Just because the US spies on people doesn't mean they could have detected the hack.
Try to boil it down to basics: Russia, which is an unfriendly country, committed the hacks against the US. Not just to affect a few companies, but to influence the election and undermine democracy, which is what every American, Obama, Hillary and Trump lovers included, place their highest values on.
