You can say the same for the Koch's. While maybe they are not as open to be helpful with their money as Buffet, they do create "long term" industry. I do not like their meddling in politics as it's usually done at the expense of the tax payers but they do create long term industry jobs and aren't the same as most of these investment banker types which are only interested in how much they can make in the short term.

btw, the Koch Bros make roughly 3 million an hour based on a 40hr work week. That's roughly 17 million per day. Not quite Buffet level I guess but not bad.
