What's wrong with that? It's just a sport - much better than smoking cigarettes and drinking beer.

P.S. Russians don't give M16's into hands of kids. They have Kalashnikov for that

My own father has shown me how to assemble/dissemble AK47 right in the school shooting gallery when I was a 1st grader.
We had a 50 meter shooting gallery in the school's basement. It was used for НВП which was translated as Basic Military Education course (
some pics from the old good Soviet school times). Also it was a shelter for the a case of air-raid warning. That was a real fun
