The UK has the same problem. The referendum on EU membership was won by the Leave camp. Now the Remain Camp, which most MPs are in, now want to make sure the UK can't leave.

We were all on the gravy train and no one wanted it to stop. It's the job of the president to protect it's citizens. President Bush didn't do that.
Google who controls the candidates? You mean people like Trump? You mean the people who buy and sell candidates? Trump said it himself that he bought and sold candidates during the campaign.
Trump has no experience in government and how it works, and he won't be able to get things done. Anything he does get done will most likely benefit big businesses and not the average worker. Business as usual - the rich get richer.
