Well I'll tell ya, that the winters of '94 and'95 kicked our asses in NY. 3 or 4 blizzards a week!
Upstate the snow was so high the deer moved in tunnels and some rolled off the hill tops. You could see the snow streaks along the mountains which I never knew deer would do.
Ice feet thick, it was horrid.
Nothin' beats Chicago for cold winters though.
