There might be some truth to it being about election integrity, but the real reason is to hope they can flip a couple of these states to keep Trump from taking office.

Their theory is likely this: If they can get a recount to flip Michigan and Pennsylvania over to Clinton that would make it Trump 270 and Clinton 268. If they can then get a couple of faithless electors to flip on Trump Clinton could take over.

It's a long shot, but at this point clearly democrats are desperate.
