It will also reduce the amount paid out in unemployment benefits. Reduce pressure on Social Services like Healthcare and crime. It doesn't matter if migrants are less likely to be ill or criminals. They shouldn't be in the country in the first place. And unemployment or living in poverty increase the likely hood of illness and crime.
This is without the long term affect of the migrants getting older, having children and the decrease in available jobs.
The downside is raised wages for low-paid workers. Means lower profits for Corporations.
