When the Tubes rise I thought I couldn't compete cause they were offering more than I could. I was a TGP submitter and all the traffic move to them. So my sales dropped down and I nearly die as an adult webmaster.
The fact is that by that time we were all looking for more and more traffic to get more sales. We were wrong to look for traffic, we have to look for buyers.
Twitter users are no different than porn sites users. There's millions users who want free content and a few buyers.
So now I don't care getting thousands of visitors on my sites or having thousands of Twitter followers. Now I'm targeting buyers and create my new sites for them. I earn more with a free site with less than 10k visitors than I was earning in 2008 with 250k uniques of TGP traffic.
So back with Twitter, you couldn't do anything about the full videos in 2mn clips so do what's needed to keep the buyers on your Twitter account and don't care about the followers looking for full videos.
