Hmmm watched the wrong movies growing up I guess... I always thought it was "Swing Low Sweet Chariot'.

Any race can be racist tho. We live in a pretty mixed area and there are many people of African or Hispanic (aas well as white) origins that hate others for stupid reasons like skin color.

Our generation was brought up to not use the word out of respect for others (read history, the word was used for Native Americans, Mexicans, Asians etc as well)
