Shit yeah. They hired me to run this complex machine. State of the art, all that. It was sitting there on its new cement pad, all ready to go, cool computer humming away, ready to make state of the art composite rocket motors. But there was one catch: it wasn't plugged in. It needed a special high voltage line directly from the telephone pole. When I got the job I was told that the dude would come to plug it in soon. When I left 3 years later is was still not plugged in. I'm not joking.
