He could have worded it better to distinguish those Latinos who enter the country legally and those who are illegals. The illegals are criminals and unlikely to get a visa. You government supports them. should they be sent home? Yes and if they had children while in the US, there is no problem. The child can apply for a visa or go back with their family.
Would you want criminals to not face the consequences of their crime because it meant they may not see their children?
Deporting illegals is the sensible thing to do.
