however that being the case these time lines are relevant in the wide scope which is fine with me. right now I'm look at the Oxus valley civilizations... there were a few civilizations that rivaled Egypt in every area except monument building, 2900-2200 BCE. if it were not for oil and the pyramids, Egypt would just be another dirt patch with some stacked up stones.
