Well what have you done to improve? One thing you should consider is people often are their own worst critics. Have you trained in school at all?
Consider Picasso. If you have seen his earlier work, he was a perfectionist. His sketches rivalled Michelangelo and then .. boom, one day he decides fuck this and goes whacky, people love him. He was a trained artist. The flame is only what keeps you going, does not translate into the work itself. It is your DRIVE that matters. Hope this helps =)
