If you get sick playing with it, it might be a speed issue.
When you turn your head, the vestibular system in your ears helps your brain to determine where it is in space, what direction its pointing at, what angle, etc.
Your eyes need to exactly match what your brain is expecting to see thanks to info from the vestibular system. If instead it gets a mismatch, your brain thinks it is poisoned and prompts your stomach to eject the poison and make you throw up.
The mismatch might be caused by speed. Your computer may be too slow to update the Vive fast enough. Try experimenting with settings to get the best speed you can.
