This is not censorship. No one is telling you that you cannot build these types of sites and yes, even profit from them.
Visa is simply telling you it will not process for these types of sites.
Go to MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club... etc.

This is not government control. Gov't has absolutely nothing to do with this - it is Visa's decision. No, the American Civil Liberties Union does not need to be brought into this. And they wouldn't even touch it, being as they are the *American* civil liberties union and these acts are *illegal* in America.
What are they supposed to do, stand up and say that rape is a form of free speech? That you're being oppressed because you can't fuck your dog? Please.

Visa feels that if customers see them processing for these sites, that Visa's reputation will be sullied and they will lose customers. Therefore, to protect their reputation, their business, and to keep the business that they have, they CHOOSE not to process for these sites.

Just as you can CHOOSE not to accept Visa.

No one is forcing you to do anything. No one is censoring you. No one is banning anything. Those are things done by a government - and again, in case you missed it - Visa is not a government.

A business company has made a decision regarding ITS OWN OPERATIONS.

Don't like it? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.
It's that simple. You DO have a choice. Plenty of them... I listed 4 above.

Many of you CHOOSE not to accept credit cards from certain countries. For the sake of your business, because you've found it to be detrimental to your business.
Oppressors! Censors!

Hypocrites.
all that babble and you still haven't got the point.
