I think there's a point that's being missed here though. Regardless of whether or not you approve of scat, bestiality, rape fantasy.. you need to realize how things work here in the US. First of all, it is my understanding that through several court rulings (including some against Wal-Mart in the past, I believe) when a private company becomes large enough that it can influence public decisions based on the company's opinions then it is no longer allowed to do certain things that private companies are allowed to.

Basically their freedom ends where the general public's begins.

For example, if Wal-Mart were to decide that they will no longer carry any computer games they will essentially be restricting what the general public can buy (their freedom). Sure, you'd say "Well, just buy the damn games online fool!" but that's not how things work in reality. Wal-Mart is the largest retailer out there and probably accounts for a good majority of computer game sales (I don't know of the actual figures, but I do know that if Wal-Mart refuses to carry you game due then 99% of the time your game will suck in sales and you'll be screwed).

It is large enough to influence public opinion and public choice.

The same can be applied to Visa. Visa accounts for what.. 70% of online adult sales? That sure is a lot of control over the general public. When such a thing occurs, the company no longer has the same freedoms as Joe and Bob's Diner because exercising some of their freedoms in certain ways would infringe upon the freedoms of the general public.

Yes, in my personal opinion scat and bestiality are nasty and I don't see how you can derive pleasure from it.. but, the question that's been brought up man times is "Where does it end?" Once you start censoring a bunch of things now where will you draw the line? And who will have enough power to draw the line?

If you want to hear the same argument about censorship please go to your local public library and ask the librarian about his or her personal views on censorship.
