You'd be better off waiting for the Vegas show. By the time you get there, you'll have about 4 total hours of convention left. And lots of folks leave immediately after the convention closes (earlier than the previous two days), as well as Sunday it's not that busy anyway as most folks can't even drag themselves out of bed (or wherever they landed) until noon. They get down to the convention floor just in time for the foam boob fight, then everyone says their goodbyes and heads off.
Some people do stay for after-convention meetings and a quiet party, but most take off that evening.
Better to just wait, drive down to Vegas a day or two early next January and get the 'full' experience.
