Those 50K results are pages competing for the top listings, and results that you would have to rise above. Also known as competiton, definitely no benefit to your Page Rank.

Second you discovered a keyword combination that Google can only show 800 results for, means that it is so obscure, that surfers would never search for it, and webmasters are not optimizing for it.
