Top notch sets, acting and effects...
But they jumped the shark by introducing the bad elements waaaaay toooo sooon.
My God, let's settle in, get to know the place a little better before they spring out the bad bots. Build characters, and situations, then sprinkle in those evil bad bots. This series is new to a whole new generation so why just drop the needle on the record?

Love the original movie.
I'm still waiting for the remake of Logan's Run and Soylent Green. I think Logan would make an awesome series.... all building up to a big climax at the end.
BTW, J.J. was the exec producer... didn't have much to do with it other than writing a check and possibly approving the rushed script. J.J. is a great action director but knows jack shit about drama and story telling. If you don't believe me, just go see Star Wars VII.
