Agreed that both are good cars and agreed with picking the Subaru.

Most Mits models are good cars, moderately priced, and vastly underrated.

And, props to Mitsubishi for recognizing the mostly overlooked younger buyer market. They were the first manufacturer to offer first time buyer, college grad, and low to no credit incentives.

Subarus, however, proven longevity. My cousin in Alaska has put over 300K miles on a Subaru Outback (and that's with regular oil changes, no high dollar repairs, and occasional new tires).
