His 'confession' got the numbers way out, so even if you believe that torture = truth, the huge mistake with the numbers should cast doubt on everything else he said

And it is a matter of record that his original written statement was made after being beaten by his captors.
However he made further written statements after this which were not made under duress, and he was cross examined at length at Nuremberg and at his trial in Poland.
He never retracted the confession made in the original statement, in fact he was happy to add further information.
