"Some guy" ?
No fool not just some guy. A camp commander. A man present throughout the whole of the period or Jewish persecution pre-war and a leading executor of the final solution.
And it is a matter of record that his original written statement was made after being beaten by his captors.
However he made further written statements after this which were not made under duress, and he was cross examined at length at Nuremberg and at his trial in Poland.
He never retracted the confession made in the original statement, in fact he was happy to add further information.
I am starting to wonder about your motives WHP.
