Ever since 2008 and Tubes crashing into the business people have been leaving, then decide this is where it's at and returning in a blaze of glory. Then fading away again.
Firstly, no one leaves a job paying great money unless offered another one that pays more. They don't return to rebuild unless the second job stops paying.
Also, people who go partying as the OP did. Rarely have the dedication required to make big bucks.

And the OP would be an idiot to point out how he does it. There are few secrets in the online porn affiliate business. The aim is to get maximum exposure, get maximum traffic to convert maximum people. Hard to keep that under your hat.
Even ad buying won't work. If I MG had a guy buying ads and making $10,000 a month. They would find where he advertises and outbid him. He's done all the hard work in finding good places, and making less than half what MG would make by copying him.
