Although clearly within the terms of most standard TOS, I consider this kind of request to be rather shitty. Your affiliates (not me, I'm just being a classic GFY blowhard) will have been using your content for many years for the dual purpose of promoting your program and building their sites. If you aren't selling the content, you've got no need to remove it all from the internet, so you're burning down your affiliate's sites as well as your own for no purpose. I say again, shitty thing to do.
Fortunately, the DMCA threat is almost certainly a bluff. Nobody who is going out of business is going to put that much time and energy into a pointless and expensive content-wrangling exercise. Smart affiliates will laugh and ignore.
