OMG how cruel can one person be?
Of course, maybe the woman is "troubled" or something? Maybe her own parents were cruel to her and she was hoping to find a real "family" to love her... who knows. I think instead of jumping to conclusions and harming the woman for what she's done, she may need serious psychological help. That doesn't sound like something a sane person would do.
I have kids myself, and I've got one who likes to run off and hide sometimes (like the laundry room under clothes, the back yard... once when my mother was babysitting he got outside and was several houses down hiding behind a neighbor's house when my oldest son found him!) and it scares me to death every single time and he knows it. He's only 3 (4 in Sept.) and he knows just how to drive me crazy. We're to the point of needing to get an alarm system installed on every single door and window in the house just to be sure he doesn't get outside without us knowing! It's just terrifying!
