As for a new car. I have a regular, daily driver car. I'm not sure if I will get another collector car. Likely not, but you never know. Upkeep on it and storing it in the winter got annoying for a car I didn't drive that often. However, if the right situation came up, like the one when I bought the mustang, I might.

As for your car, good for you if you do get another, it's nice to have a nice motor to drive, but yes, it can be wasted upkeep if you're locking it away through months of bad weather.
We had many choices with our GTR, the sun would have done the paint work in after a while, so was best for us to sell her also. A new one is in our goals, to be driven daily & kept under shelter from the blistering heat... & of course, when prices drop
