What does elite mean? If it means wealth;
- FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) was part of the elite,
- JFK (John F. Kennedy) was part of the elite,
- Harry S. Truman was not part of the elite,
- Richard M Nixon was not part of the elite,
- Bill Clinton was not part of the elite,
- Democrat Nominee George McGovern was not part of the elite,
- Democrat Candidate Bernie Sanders is not part of the elite.
All of these men were US Senators with the exception of FDR and Bill Clinton who were Governors of States.
Both Ms. Clinton and Mr. Trump are 'moneyed' elite.
