This. Speaking to a friend that lived there for several years told me of a time that him and his live-in gf had a fight (yelling match), neighbors of course called the cops. My friend tells me they asked 'who's that', and he answers 'my wife'. He said he got lucky because they didn't check papers.
yes that's right, you legally cannot live with a woman unless it's your wife. You ask around and the idiots are like 'oh well everyone does it' or one special idiot told me 'ah you just forge some papers, no big deal'.
Everything is 'you will be fine' until you're not. That's called being a dummy.
