lots of ways. posting to sites like this/newsgroups with a good sig is a start.
but it depends on the site. for example, if the site is at all offensive to anyone (almost every site is...classical music buffs are offended by country music, etc) -- seek out those people who would be offended and make sure they know about your site.
bad pr is good pr. and so on.
