PORNOGRAPHIC email volumes increased four times from June to July worldwide, while spam now accounts for half of all emails sent, a new report has revealed.
Email security firm Message Labs claimed to have scanned 156.6 million emails for spam during July, with more than 79.7 million being intercepted. The number intercepted in July was 10 million higher than was blocked for all of 2002.
