This is what i mean when i say that some people:
-Can't look 20, 30 , 50 years ahead;
-Can't see certain important developtments (A) in the world today that could possibly lead to (B) or (C)...
because they:
-Think that everything Always stays the same and that their wealth is an eternal reality given by God or something....
-Think that other nations in the world would never anticipate on strengthen their positions
at the expense of other nations.
-Think that the world is one big happy friendly fairground without any competition at all
If things are beyond your imagination... if it's too hard to grasp or believe... that doesn't make it delusional...
Grab a history book sometime.... and see how many people were thought of as delusional.
Together we stronger? You would need a single coordinated European army to face all challenges that are coming in the future and to keep our positions in the world. Positions in this context are equal to: acces to natural resources; secure trade; maintain access to markets... etc...
Why do you think America has it's huge army? You really think America's wars are about moral issues like democracy and freedom? They are wrapped as a nice gift of course and sold to the emotions of the people as moral issues, but in fact it's all about Positions. You can't blame them for fighting for their interests... you also can't blame others wanting a bigger piece of the pie....
