I used to work at Taco Bell in Livermore, California. (True story!) Once a month two Border Patrol officers would come up to the front counter in uniform, and half of our staff would run out the back door - right into the arms of yet more Border Patrol officers.
Why aren't these people arrested? When we catch someone in the United States illegally, we should be arrest them and throw them in jail.

This is exactly my point. Illegals should be arrested/deported/whatever acording to the law.
Yet somehow they manage to get licences and stuff like that. They give themselves up to the government and instead of arresting/deporting - they give them licences and whatever.
This does not make any sense.
I mean lets say you are wanted for a crime in US, you go to the ploice for something unrelated and they give you that something instead of arresting you for the crime you are wanted for.
Ridiculously unbelievable.
