Who's fighting ISIS? Russia. Who is an ally of ISIS? Turkey. But Turkey is also part of the grand scheme so they can also do whatever they want. Shoot down Russian jet? No problem. No outrage from the world. When it would be the other way around? The world would explode.

Turkey is interesting on the basis of their moves with Greece. something like over 2000 sorties went into Greece for 2015, which is rather interesting, as per the NATO agreement that's essentially one member declaring war on another, and Turkey is no longer apart of NATO.
