Preacher: was that in size 1 font tucked away somewhere on the join page? When I purchased a (standard) adultcheck ID it was on the far left, when all of the form fields were on the right, so it was very easy to miss.
My pass expired over a year ago, they still email me about once a month to try to get me to sign up again.
