This must be 'Day of the big corporate busts'.

Clear Channel probably owns every radio station from Earth to the Klingon Empire. They got large due to deregulation and indy bands, radio stations etc. have been beefing about them ever since. There are some serious charges against them and I for one can't stand it when they roll into a town, take over the local stations and pump in Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura and Shawn Hannity. It's like a fad to have 'antagonistic right-wing talk shows' or something.

There's like little if any original independent radio anymore except on the web.
