In this part I shall explain from my viewpoint the mistakes I feel others have made.

Paul Markham I think could have been huge on the net. But I think he was for many years simply a photographer supplying magazines with content.
He then sold content on the net cheap.
It was only after many years that he set up his paysite (I felt his domain name sucked).
The truble was he had already sold his content all over, so a site that could have been exclusive no longer was. Also he set it up too late in the day.

OK, some of you may think I have a go at this plonka Gary. But I shall be decent to him in this post.
Gary could have made good money years ago.
He started his sites at a good point in time. It was when porn sites still sold.
But in my mind he presumed (and still does) everything. He has never listened to advice. I have never felt that he promoted other sites, as such he did not understand the market.
At the time, the UK market was for good easy sales big i boobed, girl next door (even just topless only sites). These were easy sales. Indeed I got silly sales from promoting such sites.
But amature content sold.
Now what Gary had was a milf, chav, not too attractive woman called Nat. BUT Gary sadly did not understand the market and from the start made several huge mistakes.
(1) Rather than one site he set up somthing like 5. It made no sense as it was just the same content. I suspect if it had been one single site it would have done far better.
(2) Crap design. The sites looked dreadful.
(3) Nat never looked happy and the content was not correct. What would have at the time made the sites sell is if the site was 100% chav. Nat looking happy. Nat in Chav gear. Nat in a run down council estate. Plus (important) other chav female models. Rather than just Nat, have lots of chav models.
If he had done the site right, 6 or 7 years ago he would have made a fortune.
BUT that was then. Sites do not sell with ease as they once did.
Moving to Spain was bizarre and killed the site. The point of girl next door sites is that the customer wants to feel he may bump into the model. So setting up in Spain kills that fantasy.
Sadly Gary believes things will change and his site will start making big sales. I just wish some of you would not keep him believing this as he is simply wasting his time, when he could be doing somthing that may work.
Also him now pretending to be Nat, makes him look foolish.
Ben Dover
Before internet porn Ben Dover was probably the big name in UK porn.
Yet on the net, he seemes to have failed to make any impact.
I think he was more interested in selling DVD's rather than make a move towards the internet.
It seems like its in only recent years he has a website.
It shows that moving from one medium to another can be hard for people to grasp.
