From the start to now - my porn site experinces

I thought I would share (as much as I can remeber) my experience in porn from when I started to now.

This will include mistakes I have made and I have seen others make.

The first thing I need to point out, is that I am dyslexic. As such my memory is poor, so I may forget to add stuff. But I will do my best.

I forget the age or year I started to get into porn.

It was a mix of seeing the start of the internet and realising from the start that there was opportunists.

I also had a friend who was buying VHS pirated porn. This was (if I remember) before hardcore porn was legal. So people purchased pirated films.

He bought films of a bloke who was in a wheelchair. I was at the time paying two people £40k to just copy the tapes and bring them to his house. He only had a few tapes so when he got raided (he often did) they (the police) could only take a few tapes. He was never sent to prison as he was too disabled.

He told me that him and his mate made home made films and sold them.

I started to film for them.

This gave me several advantages. (1) I could keep the content, so shoots cost me nothing, (2) I knew what content would sell.

So I started shooting pure amature content.

Today you would probably call it chav porn.

I set up a few sites on a system proadult.

The advantage being they hosted it all.

In truth I thought you had to be a computer wiz to host your own site. This was probably my biggest mistake.

I made many sales.

But with proadult I often found the servers crashed for hours if not days. Also if someone had already a proadult password then they had access to all sites including mine.

It was only many many years later I set my own sites up with ccbill. I was always happy with them. Though I hate with a passion there new log in website.

I made too the mistake of rather than one single site, lots of sites. I made great sales, but felt it would have worked better as a single site.

I also promoted sites.

I think anyone who runs a pay site should run promote sites. This is for a few reasons. One, it helps you see what sells. It gives you more income. You can see if your sites sell better than others.

In the early years my mistake was I was lazy. I had realy crappy sites. BUT they got sales. I used to get soooo many sales promoting other sites and with hardly any hits. Looking back I should have had tgp sites and lots of traffic trades. I hate to think how much I could have made. But to be honest I was still making great cash.

I have felt that about 3 or 4 years ago, promoting paysites was pointless. Sales seemed to die. In fact some sites seemed to give up, and others I felt stopped producing content.

For me webcams were and still are easy sales.

Dating used to be good, but to be honest with free dating aps, that has dried up.

While it may be pay sites may still have a few years of life left, one has felt that tubes have got the bulk of affiliate sales.
