Work for a company that actually values you as a human being and at least respects you enough to not tell you that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about in a meeting in front of co workers. If it's necessary it should be done 1 on 1.

For example, when a company's business model revolves around cheating small business owners or other shady practices, I'd go out on a limb and say they're probably terrible people and going to treat their employees like shit. Companies with an honest and non shady business usually treat their employees better.
