TL;DR:
I'm pissed!! - I have serious dirt on a publicly traded company and want to continue getting paid for 1 year in exchange for being quiet... what do you think?

I'm am so pissed right now it's not funny...
long story but an old friend from 20 years ago called me up in Aug 2015 and offered my a fulltime job at an internet company...
considering all the drama that was going in my life at the time I figured it would actually be good to take the job ( stable income / distraction from personal drama / getting back to a routine etc)
Turns out the company is ass backwards and is actually scamming small business owners out of their hard earned cash.... straight up lying and stealing.
The kicker is --> this company was bought by a well-known public company a few years ago (a household name)
so technically I am working for public company on the TSX that is clearly knowingly ripping off 1000's of small business owners for $XXX+ each....
Over the past 7-8 months I've learned their internet business and about 3 weeks ago I started having 1-on-1 meetings with the President of this division on how to increase their sales on a tech product line that actually doesn't rip people off...
fast forward to yesterday.... I'm in a meeting with the President of this division and 6 other people (who all are clueless when it comes to technology)
the meeting was about transferring data from one system to another --- which really isnt rocket science but their drama queen "Director of IT" (who can't even code!) was trying to say how complicated it was...
they ask me my thoughts and I start explaining that it really isn't that complicated... they disagree with me and side with the Director of IT retard who can't code to save his life. I stand up for myself my explaining how it's all sitting in database tables that we just need to update in the backend, they're eyes glaze over... and then the President - who understands ZERO about technology says to me:
"YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK YOU"RE TALKING ABOUT..."
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
I AM PISSED.
I was trying to help this retard scammer with improving his business and adding products of value and he tells me this in front of a bunch of people -- after all those 1-on-1 meetings with him...
I am ready to go on the rampage...
I can use the internet (websites / twitter / facebook) to destroy this division and the publicly traded company's PR dept would go nuts... all these small business people are on twitter and facebook & their email addresses are available online..it would be very simple to create a steady stream of pissed off people calling in to cancel their accounts... a PR nightmare especially when the big newspaper business reporters start getting tagged in tweets quoting consumer complaints...

I can cost these motherfuckers $XXX,XXX in lost sales and bad publicity... they are already getting terrible reviews online (which is already a big issue for the division) -- I would just need to consolidate and target all those bad reviews at the public company instead of the division...and create a shitstorm for everyone involved....
... Monday is a holiday here so on Tuesday I feel like telling the President:
"Here's what's going to happen...
You are going to pay for telling me I don't know what the fuck I am talking about.

I'm working from home from now on. My job is to not tell all the small business owners and reporters on the internet the things I know about your division. As long as I keep getting paid every 2 weeks like normal for the next year, I will forget about you and you can forget about me.
PAYMENT PLAN #2:
Your other option is to stop paying me. If you take this option I am going to make sure it costs you way more in lost sales, bad PR and embarrassing meetings with Executives at the public company. The websites, twitter & facebook accounts that start showing up online will stay up and keep growing until your division is shut down. I will enlist the help of the internet and all the disgruntled customers and previous employees to take down your division. The cost in bad publicity would make it an easy decision for the public company since your earnings are a drop in the bucket for them.
I will show you that I know what THE FUCK I AM TALKING ABOUT.
