You guys went round and round awhile back... he was going to clone your program (which he or anyone else is entitled to do to some degree - pulling it off is another story) and then he announced that contest on your behalf.
Yeah, the contest thing was kind of fucked up as I remember.
I can definitely see why you would have a personal bone to pick with him.
I remember back when I used to drink, a couple times I would wind up doing or saying some things I completely regretted the next day, or later, or whatever. But no matter how it turns out life goes on.
Maybe The Fly was on a binge that night or something?
Seemed like a pretty wacky thing to do at the time.
I remember thinking it was something you guys just worked out between you.. a little drama, a little promo.
But I can see now that wasn't the case
