A universal wallet would theoretically be possible, but because of the differences between each coin (such as: block time, retargeting algorithm, staking parameters) it would need to be tested rigorously, and be frequently updated. Imagine there's a major change to any given coin once every two years; if the superwallet supported 200 coins, there would be a change of a coin every few days.
