I've hosted with National-Net:

In the 6 months I hosted with them, there were about 2 incidents where packets would be slow initially (30-50KB) and then speed up to about 180KB. Typically they would send at 440KB/sec to my house.

I issued 2 trouble tickets.. first network problem was solved in about a day and half.. second was a few hours. It was unrelated to them... They fixed someone else's problem.

Issuing trouble tickets was awesome, generally took a few minutes to get your ticket solved.

Pro's: Fast Network, Very nice/polite guys, amazing service all around.

Con's: restrictive on the shells. They would not enable "man" so I could read up on their version of ssh, and creating keys.

If I were picking another host today, I would definitely go back to National-Net. A few of the overnight guys are awesome to deal with..

Go National-Net, they rock
