I found it insightful that Rubio kept asking Trump what his "plan" was over and over. What "policy" would he have for health insurance?
Trump told him again and again...eliminate the laws that keep insurance companies from competing across state lines.
That's really all that is needed. It's not rocket science. The govt. deliberately put things in place decades ago at the behest of Big Insurance spending hundreds of millions with their lobbyists.
One of the things they did was making it "illegal" for companies to compete with each other across state lines.
Some things don't need complicated plans and schemes. Because they are CAUSED by the govt.
All you have to do is simply change that law to achieve that part of Trump's plan.
That is just a "for instance". I'm not sure if some people just want to hear policy wonks sit up there and talk in circles and double-talk/"Washington Speak"...but from the polling numbers and the votes so far, people are waking up to that shit and realizing that many of our problems are caused by govt. policies that were put in place by politicians getting hundreds of millions of dollars from special interest groups.
