That's the whole point you are missing. Republican politicians ran their campaigns based on STOPPING what Obama is doing.
Then they basically rolled over on every fight and didn't do anything.
Republican voters are pissed about that.
That's why the real political pressure is for them to stand up and DO THEIR JOB...which is to do what they promised when elected.
I don't agree that they should hold up a Supreme Court nomination. But I do have enough clarity of thought to realize that they are doing the will of the people who elected them.

No, Robbie, They aren't "doing the will of the people who elected them". They were not elected to stop a Supreme Court nomination. They were elected to do their jobs.
The majority of Americans, Republicans and otherwise, are upset with Congress for not doing their jobs. Congress is holding Americans hostage by shutting down the government. When it isn't shutting down the government, it's busy wasting our time and money investigating Benghazi or trying to shut down our healthcare. Congress needs to stop acting like children who didn't get their favorite toy and start doing their jobs.
Right now the front runner of the GOP is saying "delay, delay, delay". This is the way the GOP is doing business now, it's horrible, and Americans are pissed.
