the AI is basically like a magic wand...in my example of a non-skynet AI the ownership would be limited to a few corporations at best, because of the obvious dangers involved in freely distributing magic wands: "make a weapon", "crash the stock market", "win the presidency", "destroy country x" etc...it will not be shared, it will be jealously guarded...kinda like nukes...
the first corporation to make real AI, that does not go skynet on us, will end up owning everything...it will make the best everything with an unfair advantage of AI and probably robots that can build other robots, working at the speed of sound? (just thinking of the possibilities and the speed things would develop at)
you can not compare AI to any other technology...AI= magic wand
the inevitable communism that would basically put all means of production in the hands of one, or a few, corporations would follow...keep in mind that with AI all production that is not robotic and supersonic is now not commercially viable...human workers are now obsolete...cash is irrelevant...99.9% of man kind would be one social class...
